Documents: Detailed shop drawings with a professional engineer's (PE) seal are often required to obtain permits. Signage Unlimited can prepare these documents for your project, or enhance your drawings to accomplish your project's requirements. We archive complete, detailed as-built records of your project to help fulfill future needs for additional signage, repairs and maintenance.
Orders: Orders are initiated upon receipt of signed job quotation or purchase order, all specs and information, colors, artwork and deposit.
Terms: Standard terms are 50% deposit and 50% on delivery. For your convenience, Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards are accepted for order orders under $1000-.
Lead-time: Normal lead-time is 2 to 5 weeks for most projects. Current lead-time is included on job quotations and a firm delivery date can be set at time of order initiation.
Crating: Packaging or crating for shipment is included as a separate line item on job quotations when applicable.
Shipping: We can ship your order anywhere in the world. UPS is used when size and weight allow. For larger shipments common carrier or dedicated truck shipments are used. At your request shipping costs can be included on job quotations. Hand delivery by Signage Unlimited is also available.
Installation: Sign installation is available and quoted at your request. Complete and accurate site information is required. See the REQUEST QUOTE tab for more information.
Warranty: All signs are covered by a one year limited warranty. We will repair or replace any properly installed sign or part found to be defective, exclusive of transportation and installation costs for a minimum of one year.
Claims: Please examine your order thoroughly upon receipt. If crating or packaging shows any signs of damage, do not sign for or accept the shipment until it is unpacked and inspected carefully. Note well any damages on the carrier's bill of lading and immediately notify Signage Unlimited. We will arrange for replacement parts and products, file a claim with the carrier and arrange return shipment.
Artwork: Signage Unlimited uses your art file to produce your job. Simply save your vector art as .AI and .EPS files and E-mail to info@signageunlimited.com. Please call if you need assistance.
Materials and Finishes: Signage Unlimited, Inc. combines decades of engineering and fabrication experience with the latest fabrication technology and best materials to ensure unsurpassed appearance, structural integrity, durability and safety. Paint / Colors: Our paint finishes are second to none. An environmentally controlled spray booth guarantees a beautiful and long-lasting architectural-quality finish. Thorough surface preparation includes solvent washing and mechanical etching of all surfaces. A self-etching primer precedes a top quality Matthews or Grip-Gard two-part acrylic polyurethane top-coat that is baked on to achieve a smooth and lustrous finish. A satin finish is standard. Matte, gloss, and metallic finishes are available. We match colors using both the Akzo Grip-Gard and Matthews paint stations. PMS, vinyl and other references can be used for matching. Custom color samples can be requested prior to job finishing.
Electrical: All electric signs are built in strict accordance with Underwriters laboratory standards and are UL listed and labeled.
